Perelle Butchery
Perelle Butchery takes up residence at Grand Marché St Martin
Guernsey’s well-known Perelle Butchery has officially taken over the fresh meat counter at Grand Marché St Martin, strengthening its partnership with The Channel Islands Co-operative Society and reinforcing a shared commitment to quality, local produce.
A family trade, passed down through generations
Now run by local butcher Stuart and his wife Kim, Perelle Butchery continues a proud tradition of craftsmanship and service. Stuart has been in the trade for 35 years, having learned the skills of butchery from his father after joining the family business straight out of school.
Following the retirement of founder Tony Fiore, Stuart and Kim stepped into ownership, bringing fresh energy and experience to the well-loved local business. Together with their close-knit team - Ed, Rick, and Nick.
A growing partnership
Perelle Butchery’s relationship with the CI Coop began in 2012 with a small sausage order and quickly evolved into a successful product line sold across island stores. Taking on the in-store counter at Grand Marché St Martin was the natural next step.
The counter offers a full range of high-quality meat, including aged beef, free-range pork, poultry, and Perelle’s signature sausages, all backed by expert knowledge and friendly advice.
Looking to the future
With their roots firmly in traditional butchery and their eyes set on continued growth, Stuart, Kim and the team remain focused on delivering top-quality products and service to customers across the island.
Whether visiting their original shop at Perelle or the new counter at Grand Marché St Martin, customers can expect the same high standards, local passion, and personal touch.
